AMMERDOWN GARDENS

The Ammerdown Centre is located in the former stable block of Ammerdown House, which dates back to 1789.  Built by Thomas Jolliffe, the house was designed by James Wyatt.  Its beautiful gardens were mostly designed by famous landscape artist Edwin Lutyens at the beginning of the twentieth century.

By kind courtesy of the Jolliffe family, Ammerdown guests have access to parts of the landscaped gardens as well as the parkland.  They provide a wonderful setting for walks or even outdoor meetings.
