STRONG TRACK-RECORD IN HOSPITALITY

The Ammerdown Centre started life in 1973 as an Adult Education Centre dedicated to dialogue and reconciliation.

It was founded by a group of Christians who had the vision for a venue that would bring together people of different background and beliefs and that would facilitate the breaking down of barriers and prejudices in us all.

Together, they raised money to convert the stable block of Ammerdown House (owned by Lord Hylton, one of the original Founders) into a conference centre.

Today, the Centre runs a variety of day and residential courses that appeal to mind, body and spirit and also welcomes groups of all walks of life that use its facilities for their own events and training.

For more information about our courses, visit www.ammerdown.org

I have never been to a conference and retreat centre that has paid such attention to detail and where comfort and well-being have been so well provided for.”
Sue, 2006 Easter Retreat
